The additional (self-incurred) task is also accomplished skilfully and is made to look effortless: our Director needs to work harder to maintain the young relationship once his sexual intention for the top he's wildly attracted to is made stark and obvious, and is balanced by directing slightly greater attention by them to the other boy focussed as the 'bottom' partner.

Thankfully he's also easy on the eyes, spat at in the eyes and not given to sudden bouts of on-screen jealousy or any newly-felt insecurity which is quickly and imaginatively addressed. The director's sensitive awareness earns him a bonus 'second-shoot' with the couple (tagged on at the end and presumably filmed later the same day).

The film which also has pace, positive appreciation, vitality and evocatively captures some of the final stages of negotiation on the journey from naive twink into gay manhood.
